THE ROUTE

The fully signed ULTRA LONDON route largely follows the fantastic Capital Ring footpath.

The Capital Ring forms an inner circle around Greater London. ULTRA LONDON 2021 gives you the opportunity to take on the Southern half of the path.

The route includes some of London’s finest scenery, Eltham Palace, Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park to name just a few highlights.  Take in stunning views of the London skyline whilst keeping off the beaten track.

The route is a mix of trails, footpaths, parks, disused railway lines, woodland and more (rarely will you encounter a main road or highway).   The surface will be gravel, grass, tarmac and depending on weather conditions, may be muddy in places.
